Q. How long will my order take? A. Normally all orders are processed and despatched within 24 to 48 hours. Delivery then depends on which service you have chosen. 2nd class will take about 2-3 days. 1st class 1 to 2 days. If you have an urgent delviery, we can put it on a next day service, but only for orders received before noon.

Q. What is 'Sterling Silver'? A. Pure silver is far too soft to be used for normal day to day jewellery. It would not stand up to the knocks of everyday life. For this reason, it is mixed with other metals to produce Sterling Silver. This is a standard which must contain no less than 925 parts per thousand of pure silver. To be sure you are getting sterling silver you should look for a stamp in the metal to prove it. Virtually all of our pieces have the stamp.
Q. How should I look after my jewellery? A. Care of your Silver
Whatever precautions you take, Silver will tarnish over time, although you can help to prevent this by ensuring you follow the do’s and don’t’s listed below.
Do: Take great care of your jewellery and treat it gently. Jewellery is delicate and will not like being roughly handled. Keep it in its case if it has one. Clean regularly by immersing in warm soapy water. A soft toothbrush can be used to gently remove any stubborn dirt. Dry the piece thoroughly by patting it with a soft towel to prevent water stains, (hair dryers are not recommended).
Don’t: Wear it while washing up, cleaning around the house or carrying out other work Use detergents to clean opal, turquoise or Lapis as these are very soft. Allow it to come in to contact with aerosols. Store it in direct sunlight as this can affect the colour of the stone. Wear jewellery while swimming, as the chlorine will have an adverse reaction on it. Use an ultrasonic cleaner.
Q. I would like to give a piece of jewellery as a birthday present, but I don't know what birthstone would apply. A. The birthstones for each month are as follows:
